3.3. Insulation of a frameless hangar. Patented technology Tepofol

When insulating arched shelters, Tepofol® thermal insulation is fastened with inside hangar so that the heat-reflecting layer is facing the inside of the structure.

Thermal insulation material is laid horizontally along the entire length of the shelter.

The hangar is insulated from floor to floor, including the foundation and basement of the shelter.

3.3.1. Sequence of work

To fix the insulation on the metal structure of the hangar, copper-plated nails should be welded to metal bases using the method of spot capacitor welding to a steel thickness of 0.5 mm.

With this principle of welding, the integrity of the metal structure is preserved: steel is not burned through, holes are not formed in metal spans.

After welding, additional elements do not weigh down the structure of the hangar.

Lay the heat-insulating material on the prepared hangar spans, sequentially joining the puzzles of the interlock. Secure the insulation layer on top with a washer.

3.4 Insulation of frame metal hangars

The special Tepofol technology has been developed for the insulation of frame metal hangars.

On the preparatory stage indoors, we install a crate (wooden or metal profiles).

On top of the crate, we fasten the edge of the Tepofol® roll insulation along the width so that it fits snugly against the floor surface. We roll the roll up the wall, fixing it securely. We reach the ceiling and continue the procedure on its surface. Then we go to opposite wall and lower Tepofol® to the floor.
