Take the bottle and cut off the middle part from it, as in photo 2-3. Then cut this part of the bottle in a spiral with scissors, cut a strip about 2 centimeters wide (Pic 4).

Next, you need to bend one edge approximately 0.5 cm along the entire length of the strip, as in photo 5-6. This edge will help set the direction for spruce needles (needles), and will also serve as a limiter for cutting "needles". Cut a fringe strip about 0.1 cm wide (Pic 7-8).

Then proceed to the creation of spruce branches. Let's make a “top” for the Christmas tree, for which wrap a strip of plastic around the “rod” (about 8 cm long) and glue it with a thermal gun (apply glue to the “rod”, otherwise the workpiece from high temperature can be deformed) (photo 9). After making the top - make the first tier of branches, which will consist of three short parts (a branch with an approximate length of about 7-8 cm). Make a wire frame as shown in photo 14, connect it to a plastic ring (photo 15-16).

Start wrapping the "twigs" by analogy with the top (photo 17). After creating all the branches, braid the “needles” and the main stem (photo 18-19). As a result, you should get two parts, as in photo 20.

Make the third part of the future Christmas tree, remote. At first it was made too high, so it was moved to the bottom of the tree and the part was made smaller. In total, four distances were used for this Christmas tree: Upper - approximately 0.5 cm; the second is about 0.6 cm; third - 7 cm; lower - 8 cm. Make "distances" by analogy with the manufacture of the crown, but do not close the upper hole (photo 21). The Christmas tree will look at this stage, as in photo 22.

Next, make a second tier of branches, which will be wider than the first and will already include four branches (approximately about 9 cm long), each of which will have two side branches. The length of the main branches turned out to be about 9 cm (photo 23 -24).

Wrap the frame, starting with the smallest branches, then the main ones, and ending with the trunk (photo 25-26). Under the influence of hot glue, the plastic heats up and takes on a fairly plastic shape, thanks to which it is very easy to set the direction of the needles for each branch at the junction of the branches (photo 27-29).

The central part of the stem before masking with needles looks like in photo 30, and after masking it looks like in photo 31. Next, you need to make a second remote part (photo 32).

This is followed by the manufacture of the third tier, the approximate length of the branches is about 10 cm (20 cm in diameter) (photo 33). Finally, make the lower tier (branches 15 cm long (30 cm in diameter)) and the lower distance (Pic 34).

It remains only to install everything on the stand! If desired, you can make any number of tiers, while each subsequent tier should be proportionally wider than the previous one - this way you can get a tall and elegant Christmas tree.

Of the bottles, we will use only the middle, cylindrical part.

Cutting the cylinder in a spiral with scissors, cut out a strip about 20 mm wide.

Then, along the entire length of the strip, we bend one edge by about 5 mm, as shown in the photo below.

This shoulder, firstly, will set the direction for the Christmas tree needles (needles), and secondly, it will serve as a limiter when we cut this needles.

We make the "top" for spruce:

To do this, we wrap a strip of plastic about 80 mm high around the rod and glue it with a thermo-gun into a cylinder with a diameter like that of the rod (you need to glue it directly on the rod - otherwise the workpiece is deformed from high temperature)

Now we twist a small piece of fringe into a cylinder and paste it inside the cylinder (see photo).

Then we take a strip of fringe and wrap it around the tube in a spiral, gluing it well with hot glue along the entire length of the top.

When one strip is over, we take the second one and continue to work (without removing the workpiece from the rod).

The top is ready, we make the first tier of branches - we have the shortest, of 3 pieces. The length of the branches is 60 - 70mm. We bend the frame from the wire, as shown in the photo, we connect it into one piece with a plastic ring.

We wrap the branches with needles, just like the top.

After all the branches are ready, we equip the main trunk with needles.

Here are 2 details we already have!

We make the third part, remote. At first, we made it too high, so we moved it to the bottom of the tree, and made it smaller on top. In total, 4 distances were used for our Christmas tree: Upper - about 50mm; the second is about 60mm; the third, respectively 70mm; lower - 80mm. We make distances using the same technology as the top, only we do not close the hole from above.

Then - we make the second tier of branches. It is wider than the first, already consists of four branches, each of which has 2 side branches. The length of the main branches we got about 90mm.

We wrap the frame, starting with the smallest branches, ending with the main ones, and then with the trunk.

The plastic is heated under the influence of glue and becomes very plastic, so that at the junction of the branches, you can easily set the direction of the needles for each branch.

For plastic rivets, it is very important to choose the material. Fluttering for about a year, by trial and error, taking into account the requirements of strength and accessibility, I identified several sources for obtaining plastic rivets:

1. Empty rods from ballpoint pens. Enough available material. They are good because they are colorless and the connection, with their help, turns out to be organically inscribed in a product made of plastic bottles. Such a rivet turns out to be neat, with a round head, however, it has a slightly reduced tensile strength. In addition, the rod from ballpoint pens is round in cross section and completely fills the drilled hole in the parts to be joined. By the way, the walls of the rods come in different thicknesses, for rivets it is better to use rods with thicker walls.

2. Sticks from Chupa Chups. Similar to option No. 1 only in color. The connection turns out to be more bulky, and the head of the rivet is melted with difficulty (either burns out, or becomes ugly, or unreliable).

3. Most perfect option, and very convenient (I give the world an offer) to use material from buckets with building mixtures of 3, 5, 10 liters. There are quite a lot of them left after repairs, and one lasts for a long time.

From the walls of such a bucket, you need to cut a ring, and cut the ring along the generatrix (only this way) into strips 2 ... 4 mm wide, 4 to 15 cm long. quantity.

Getting a connection with such rivets is unpretentious. It is more convenient for this to pre-prepare rivets of the desired length, on the one hand, melting the head of the plastic rod. To connect two parts with plastic rivets, we overlap the parts, melt them with the same burner, forming a hole of the desired profile and size, insert a rivet there and, by melting, form a head from the opposite end of the rivet rod. To implement the idea, the source material is needed in the form of a part of a milk plastic bottle (Fig. 1a), which is cut along the circumference into two components (Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, respectively). A trunk will be formed from the part adjacent to the neck (Fig. 1b), and branches of the future will be cut from the ring with a central groove (Fig. 1c). Christmas tree. From one whole plastic bottle, two or three rings are obtained. The more rings you prepare, the more fluffy and tall Christmas tree you can collect. I had 20 such rings, no less (10 full bottles).

Plastic rings with a groove in the middle must be cut into several equal parts(Fig. 2) along the generatrices of the cylinder of the bottle. As a result, we get convex rectangles. If cut into 2 parts, then long lower branches of the Christmas tree will be obtained from such long halves, if cut into 3 equal parts, then branches of medium tiers and medium length will be obtained, and cutting into 4-5 parts, we get small blanks for the upper tiers of the desktop Christmas tree . It is not at all necessary to observe the special uniformity of the dimensions of the rectangles for one type of tiers.

Next, the rather tedious work of forming a branch begins. From each plastic convex rectangle (Fig. 3a), a wedge-shaped blank should be cut with scissors (Fig. 3b). The axis of symmetry of the wedge-shaped part should be along the corrugation groove. Immediately after cutting the workpiece, “needles” should be formed on it, making cuts along the side edges at about 45 degrees to the groove and radially at the end of the “branch”. (Fig. 3c). The needles are alternately bred from the plane of the workpiece also at 45 degrees to each other. The wiring of needles up and down relative to the plane of the branch provides fluffiness to the Christmas tree.

As a result of such painstaking work, several sets (Fig. 4) of branches of different sizes for a desktop homemade Christmas tree are obtained. Cutting branches and then needles is a rather lengthy task, but you can entrust this to your relatives as part of the collective creativity to decorate life under New Year. It should be noted that it is difficult to accurately determine the number of branches that form a particular tier by eye, so you should always have several rings in stock (Fig. 1c) for cutting branches during the installation of tiers

The place for fastening the branches is the trunk, which consists of several parts (logs). The upper parts of plastic bottles (Fig. 1b) were considered waste during the separation of the rings (Fig. 1c), but now they are also used in spruce construction to create a trunk. The base of the trunk and the lower log is the full neck part of a plastic bottle (Fig. 5a). The upper logs are assembled from blanks obtained by cutting off the threaded part of a milk bottle with a flange, as well as removing a plastic segment along the generatrices (Fig. 5b, 5c). The segments must be rolled up with a tube and fixed on both sides of the generatrix with plastic rivets. Similarly, it is necessary to create several logs for attaching tiers of branches. In my case, these are 3 logs, but there may be more or less of them. For a miniature Christmas tree, 3-4 tiers of branches on just one log are enough.

Naturally, the diameter of the trunk should taper towards the top of the table tree and the diameter of the top log should be smaller than the bottom one. The larger the cut of the segment, the more top log is obtained from the tapered top of the plastic bottle. For the top, you need a half segment, and for the middle part, about two-thirds of the whole neck (Fig. 5b). The diameter of the bottom hole of the top log should be approximately 1 mm larger than the top hole of the bottom log forming the trunk.

It's time to attach the branches to the "logs". On each log, you will need to place 2-3 tiers of branches. A small number of tiers does not allow you to effectively cover the rivet heads with branches, and a large number of spoils the aesthetic appearance of the Christmas tree. In each tier of this design, you can install from 4 to 10 branches. Fastening is carried out with the help of plastic rivets, since a lot of plastic rivets will be required, it is better to prepare them for future use. The easiest way is to install branches in tiers on the lower logs (Fig. 6), since the neck in a plastic bottle is wide enough and it is convenient to hold a plastic rivet with inside finger.

If you put the branches close to the circumference of the tier, then one rivet is enough to fasten the branch to the trunk (Fig. 6-8). For lovers of greater reliability, two rivets can be installed side by side. The tiers of branches must be formed like the flooring of the roof of a house - from the bottom up, then the branches of the upper tier will cover the rivets of the lower one and the heads of the rivets will be completely invisible.

In my case, in the lower (Fig. 6) and middle (Fig. 7) logs of the trunk, there are 2 tiers of branches, and in the upper - 3 (Fig. 8). In total - 5 tiers of branches. It is quite enough to acquire an amazing similarity with a real Christmas tree. The installation of plastic rivets on the upper tier, due to its small diameter, should be done using tweezers or a medical clamp.

After fixing all the tiers on all logs, you can proceed to final assembly. But first it is desirable to decide on the top. In my case, without thinking for a long time, I built the top using the same technology as the barrel (Fig. 5), that is, turning the plastic into a cone. But you can do this in a different way, for example, in the form of an asterisk or a ball (I like the cone more). The top of the tree is attached to the upper element of the trunk also with the help of a rivet that is installed from the inside and melted from the outside. Top part of the trunk, together with the top, there is already a miniature table Christmas tree in itself (Fig. 9). It can be installed on the monitor and enhance the feeling of the holiday...

A live Christmas tree grows from the bottom up, in the same order we collect logs with tiers of branches by adding “logs” (Fig. 10) to an existing Christmas tree. Between themselves, it is better to connect the elements of the trunk in a place covered with a branch, at three points along the circumference of the trunk. In this case, the trunk acquires rigidity and will not break if the Christmas tree accidentally falls to the floor from the table, the Christmas tree is desktop ...
