The Zheleznodorozhny City Court of the Moscow Region sentenced Olga Alisova, who hit a child in Zheleznodorozhny on April 23, in whose blood alcohol was initially found, to three years in prison, an RBC correspondent reports from the courtroom. Thus, the judge granted.

“Found Alisova guilty and sentence her to three years in prison in a penal colony,” said Judge Vladimir Shekun. In addition, Alisova is obliged to pay compensation for moral damages in the amount of 2.5 million rubles to the relatives of the deceased child.

When deciding on three years of imprisonment, the court took into account mitigating circumstances: the presence of the accused child, positive reviews from work, from friends and acquaintances; no criminal record.

The case received a public outcry due to the initial conclusion of experts, according to which 2.7 ppm of alcohol was found in the child’s blood, on the basis of which in June the Investigative Committee (IC) opened a criminal case under Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence). A comprehensive forensic examination was carried out by the decision of the Investigative Committee that the doctor Mikhail Kleimenov violated the rules of conducting the study. This led to contamination of the child’s blood sample with “alcohol-forming microflora and the process of alcoholic fermentation.”

Alisova’s lawyer, Natalia Kurakina, said during the debate that the fact of detecting alcohol in the child’s blood “stupefied” her client. During the entire trial, the defense argued that what happened in Zheleznodorozhny was an accident; Alisova could not see the child because of the cars standing close by. She, in particular, took a polygraph. One of the witnesses to the incident, traffic police inspector of the Balashikha State Traffic Safety Inspectorate Artem Zibnitsky, told the court that the section of the road was crowded with a number of cars that could have blocked Alisova’s view.

The prosecutor insisted that the person responsible for the boy’s death could have avoided the accident. According to the state prosecutor, Alisova was talking on the phone while driving, incorrectly assessed the road situation and caused a collision. "Between breaking the rules traffic and death there is a direct cause-and-effect relationship,” the prosecutor said at the debate.

Family members of the deceased boy told RBC, as well as in court, that a case into the child’s death was not opened for more than a month, and some of the evidence, including video recordings from surveillance cameras, was destroyed. According to one of the lawyers of the Shimko family, Valery Zubov, the case was opened retroactively, after the incident received publicity in the media. The prosecutor, in turn, rejected these accusations.

“The case should be considered within the framework of a criminal conspiracy between police officers, investigative authorities, persons who are members of the expert institution, and persons who put pressure on them. I’m not saying that Alisova is somehow involved in this, but the actions of the investigative authorities and their reluctance to investigate her crime raise suspicions,” he said at the debate.

IN last word Alisova asked the court to assign her a suspended sentence or a deferment of serving in a penal colony. “Unfortunately, Alyosha [Shimko] cannot be returned. My daughter is suffering. I ask the court to give me the opportunity to raise my daughter at least until her 14th birthday,” she added.

The defendant stated that the dead boy “was deprived of supervision and protection.” “And parents are responsible for him. I am a mother and I cannot have any other feelings other than the feeling of experiencing to the dead boy and his family. All this time I was only trying to refute the false testimony that was not only in court, but also in the media. Everyone turned against me, saying that I bought everything, but this is a lie. “I believe that the prosecutor’s demand for sentencing is entirely based on the resonance associated with alcohol in the boy’s blood,” she said.

Speaking about the requirement to pay 3 million rubles. (amount of compensation for moral damage requested by the prosecutor. — RBC) Alisova asked the court to take into account that she “has nothing” in her property, except for the car, “for which the loan has not been fully repaid.”

Mikhail Kleimenov, who signed the report on the detection of alcohol in the blood of a six-year-old boy, did not actually conduct an examination. He sent the biomaterial to the capital, and when he received the result, he assured him without looking, reports the Mash Telegram channel.

ON THE TOPIC

It turns out that the child who died under the wheels of a Hyundai Solaris in Zheleznodorozhny drank a bottle of vodka alone before the accident. Approximately this amount of alcohol corresponds to the dose of 2.7 ppm indicated in the blood test results.

It is noteworthy that the doctor from Moscow, who examined the biomaterial, went on vacation immediately after the examination. It has not yet been possible to contact her. The baby’s parents do not blame Kleimenov: after all, the samples could have been replaced or mixed up during transportation.

Member of the Federation Council Elena Mizulina does not believe that the preschooler could have been drunk, Life.ru reports. In her opinion, such statements are absurd.

“Everything that is happening before our eyes is complete chaos and absurdity! The boy can no longer be returned, and they are trying to discredit the good memory of him. I don’t believe that the child could have been drunk. And how does this affect the proven fact of the collision? It turns out “What, you can knock down a drunk?!” – the senator was indignant.

As previously reported, in Zheleznodorozhny near Moscow, a six-year-old boy died under the wheels of a car. The collision was carried out by 31-year-old Olga Alisova, who was driving a Hyundai Solaris. The car dragged the child under the bottom for several tens of meters. In the expert report, the deceased child was found to be drunk. The investigator concluded that it was the boy’s own fault that he fell under the wheels. Now the boy's family is demanding a re-examination. The child’s parents claim that pressure was put on witnesses during the criminal investigation, and the criminal case itself was not opened for about a month.

15:58 — REGNUM The new conclusions of the investigation look monstrous in the eyes of those following the progress of the investigation into the “drunk boy” case. Commenting on the statement of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev about alcohol found in a repeated blood sample, experts note that it is now necessary for the investigation to take place as openly and publicly as possible. It is also important to wait for the examination after the exhumation of the body of the deceased child. It is important that the exhumation is carried out and that the public does not have any questions about the case.

“Everything that is happening causes very unpleasant feelings,” - told the correspondent IA REGNUM President of the Center for Social and Political Research "Aspect", member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Georgy Fedorov.

According to him, the confrontation between different law enforcement agencies - the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs - that has emerged in the wake of the investigation of the case is not an obstacle, but an additional incentive to correct conclusions consequences.

“There must be competition between departments, which will only be beneficial. The main thing is that the truth be restored, that the investigation be conducted publicly. The perpetrators must be punished,” he said.

Let us remind you that earlier Vladimir Kolokoltsev said that a repeated examination confirmed the presence of alcohol in a blood sample that allegedly belonged to the six-year-old boy who was hit.

“As far as I know, the secondary result of the examination coincides with the first. But I have no right to voice this decision,” - he said on the air of “Russia 24”.

He noted that the investigation is being conducted “in strict accordance with current legislation” and there are no complaints about the current investigation.

The Moscow region branch of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation also announced a positive test for alcohol.

“As established, the expert’s conclusion indicated that ethyl alcohol was found in the blood of the deceased, the content of which is 2.7% ppm,” the press service of the Investigative Committee reported. It is also indicated that earlier investigators from the regional Investigative Committee seized blood samples from the deceased, and a genetic study carried out at the main department of criminalistics of the Investigative Committee of Russia showed that “the blood belonged to a minor victim.”

In response, a statement from the victim’s father appeared in the media, denying the correctness of the examination’s conclusions. In his opinion, alcohol entered the child’s body after his death, which should be confirmed by appropriate research.

Note that after the story of the death of a boy by a member of the Federation Council was made public Elena Mizulina and involvement of the head of the RF IC in the investigation Alexandra Bastrykina, the case is updated every day with new high-profile details. Thus, the forensic expert, who took tests from the deceased child on April 25, already stated that he had nothing to do with their research and signed the finished report without looking. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, in turn, recalled that the forensic medical examination bureau is not part of the structure of the ministry. It is also noted that, for example, a comparison of the DNA of the mother and child confirmed the relationship, but an alcohol test has not yet been carried out. At the same time, Vladimir Kolokoltsev noted that preliminary alcohol was still present, but a re-examination was scheduled.

Convincing proof of one point of view or another will only be the exhumation of the child’s body. We can only hope that it will still be carried out, as previously promised.

Let us remind you that on April 23, 2017, 31-year-old Olga Alisova hit and killed a 6-year-old child. According to experts, the boy was heavily intoxicated at the time of the accident.

Ecuadorian authorities have denied Julian Assange asylum at the London embassy. The founder of WikiLeaks was detained by British police, and this has already been called the biggest betrayal in the history of Ecuador. Why are they taking revenge on Assange and what awaits him?

Australian programmer and journalist Julian Assange became widely known after the website WikiLeaks, which he founded, published secret documents from the US State Department in 2010, as well as materials related to military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

But it was quite difficult to find out who the police were leading out of the building, supporting him by the arms. Assange had grown a beard and looked nothing like the energetic man he had previously appeared in photographs.

According to Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno, Assange was denied asylum due to his repeated violations of international conventions.

He is expected to remain in custody at a central London police station until he appears at Westminster Magistrates' Court.

Why is the President of Ecuador accused of treason?

Former Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa called the decision current government the biggest betrayal in the history of the country. “What he (Moreno - editor’s note) did is a crime that humanity will never forget,” Correa said.

London, on the contrary, thanked Moreno. The British Foreign Office believes that justice has triumphed. The representative of the Russian diplomatic department, Maria Zakharova, has a different opinion. “The hand of “democracy” is squeezing the throat of freedom,” she noted. The Kremlin expressed hope that the rights of the arrested person will be respected.

Ecuador sheltered Assange because former president held center-left views, criticized US policies and welcomed the WikiLeaks publication secret documents about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Even before the Internet activist needed asylum, he managed to personally meet Correa: he interviewed him for the Russia Today channel.

However, in 2017, the government in Ecuador changed, and the country set a course for rapprochement with the United States. New President called Assange “a stone in his shoe” and immediately made it clear that his stay on the embassy premises would not be prolonged.

According to Correa, the moment of truth came at the end of June last year, when US Vice President Michael Pence arrived in Ecuador for a visit. Then everything was decided. “You have no doubt: Lenin is simply a hypocrite. He has already agreed with the Americans on the fate of Assange. And now he is trying to make us swallow the pill, saying that Ecuador is supposedly continuing the dialogue,” Correa said in an interview with the Russia Today channel.

How Assange made new enemies

The day before the arrest editor-in-chief WikiLeaks Kristin Hrafnsson said that Assange was under total surveillance. “WikiLeaks uncovered a large-scale espionage operation against Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy,” he noted. According to him, cameras and voice recorders were placed around Assange, and the information received was transferred to the Donald Trump administration.

Hrafnsson clarified that Assange was going to be expelled from the embassy a week earlier. This did not happen only because WikiLeaks published this information. A high-ranking source told the portal about the plans of the Ecuadorian authorities, but the head of the Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry, Jose Valencia, denied the rumors.

Assange's expulsion was preceded by corruption scandal around Moreno. In February, WikiLeaks published a package of INA Papers, which traced the operations of the offshore company INA Investment, founded by the brother of the Ecuadorian leader. Quito said it was a conspiracy between Assange and Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and former Ecuadorian leader Rafael Correa to overthrow Moreno.

In early April, Moreno complained about Assange's behavior at Ecuador's London mission. “We must protect the life of Mr. Assange, but he has already crossed all boundaries in terms of violating the agreement that we came to with him,” the president said. “This does not mean that he cannot speak freely, but he cannot lie and hack.” ". At the same time, back in February last year it became known that Assange at the embassy was deprived of the opportunity to interact with the outside world, in particular, his Internet access was cut off.

Why Sweden stopped its prosecution of Assange

At the end of last year Western media citing sources, they reported that Assange would be charged in the United States. This was never officially confirmed, but it was because of Washington’s position that Assange had to take refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy six years ago.

In May 2017, Sweden stopped investigating two rape cases in which the portal’s founder was accused. Assange demanded compensation from the country's government for legal costs in the amount of 900 thousand euros.

Earlier, in 2015, Swedish prosecutors also dropped three charges against him due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.

Where did the investigation into the rape case lead?

Assange arrived in Sweden in the summer of 2010, hoping to receive protection from American authorities. But he was investigated for rape. In November 2010, a warrant was issued for his arrest in Stockholm, and Assange was put on the international wanted list. He was detained in London, but was soon released on bail of 240 thousand pounds.

In February 2011, a British court decided to extradite Assange to Sweden, after which a number of successful appeals followed for the WikiLeaks founder.

British authorities placed him house arrest before deciding on extradition to Sweden. Breaking his promise to the authorities, Assange asked for asylum at the Ecuadorian embassy, which was granted to him. Since then, the UK has had its own claims against the WikiLeaks founder.

What awaits Assange now?

The man was re-arrested on a US extradition request for publishing classified documents, police said. At the same time, Deputy Head of the British Foreign Ministry Alan Duncan said that Assange would not be sent to the United States if he faced the death penalty there.

In the UK, Assange is likely to appear in court on the afternoon of April 11. This is stated on the WikiLeaks Twitter page. British authorities are likely to seek a maximum sentence of 12 months, the man's mother said, citing his lawyer.

At the same time, Swedish prosecutors are considering reopening the rape investigation. Attorney Elizabeth Massey Fritz, who represented the victim, will seek this.

In Zheleznodorozhny near Moscow, 31-year-old Olga Alisova, while driving a Hyundai Solaris, hit a six-year-old child who died on the spot from his injuries. The accident occurred on April 23, but became public only the other day, when the boy’s father, Roman Shimko, was given a forensic expert’s report. The document states that at the time of the accident the boy was very drunk; 2.7 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood (this is about a bottle of vodka for an adult).

The accident occurred near house number 39 in the Pavlino microdistrict. By words According to eyewitnesses, Alisova drove at a speed of over 50 kilometers per hour, dragging the boy from one entrance to another, although “there is a playground there and a dead end, it’s very difficult to drive through and no one has ever driven there.”

On Friday, June 16, the Investigative Committee announced the initiation of a criminal case for negligence against forensic experts who found the boy drunk:

“Based on the data already collected and information received during a personal reception by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region on the fact of giving an expert opinion on the strong alcohol intoxication of a 6-year-old boy who died as a result of an accident, a criminal case of negligence was opened (Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) .

As established, the expert’s report indicated that 2.7 ppm of alcohol was found in the blood of the child who died as a result of an accident. The experts are currently being questioned by investigators.

As part of the criminal investigation, investigators intend to give a legal assessment of the experts’ actions.”

According to the child’s father, no criminal case was opened against Alisova for about a month. As a result, a case was finally opened under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic and operation rules vehicles) Alisova faces up to five years in prison.
“Strange things began just two hours after the incident,” the boy’s father, Roman Shimko, told KP. “The eyewitnesses of the event were pounding on the door strangers. The next day, recordings from the outdoor video surveillance cameras of the Safe City system disappeared. For a month, no criminal case was initiated. I hired a lawyer, who during this time interviewed all the witnesses and took photographs of the scene. We provided all this to the investigator. But he told us some nonsense, that this was not a criminal case, but an administrative one, and that the most they would do to Alisova was issue a fine. And this despite the fact that eyewitnesses saw her rushing around the yard at breakneck speed, and even talking on the phone.”

Only on May 26, 2017, Roman was summoned to the Investigative Committee and given a summons to initiate a case [against Alisova].

“During this time, the person responsible for the incident met with us only once. And also, two weeks after the tragedy, she sent a check in my name for 50,000 rubles. Her lawyer asked for a meeting and said that Alisova wanted to apologize. However, no apology came out, the woman was silent almost the entire time, and her defender said that she was not to blame, since the child ran out onto the road and sat down, and therefore, allegedly, she could not see him.
