Curly openwork lambrequins in yaroslavl

Salon of curtains "Olga" is pleased to offer customers curly lambrequins in Yaroslavl!

The figured lambrequin is one of the decorative accessories. If you want to add something new, bright or, on the contrary, calm to your interior, then curly lambrequins are a good solution!

A curly (openwork) lambrequin, or as it is also called, a curly strip of the cornice is a decorating element made of curtain fabric and a dense elastic base (bando), which allows the cornice strip to maintain its shape and easily attach it to any types of plastic, profile or other cornices. All products are united by a common manufacturing principle: curtain fabric is glued onto an elastic base - a bando, and then a figured ornament is cut out with a laser.

In our salon of curtains "Olga" samples of various models of decorative strips are presented, which you can choose exactly for your interior, as well as choose the texture (material) and color of the curly lambrequin according to your project or from the catalog.

The curly strip is attached directly to the basswood, which is glued to the cornice. The mating part of the linden is usually not required, since the back of the fleecy side of the finished decorative strip easily connects to the linden installed on the cornice.

Caring for the curly bar of the cornice is simple, since the manufacturing technology and materials allow using an iron with steam to smooth out almost any jam and wrinkle on the curved bar without losing its appearance and shape, as well as wet cleaning the product from dust and dirt.

Thus, the curtain rail is what will allow you to easily, economically, and most importantly, exclusively decorate your window! You can easily make a luxurious window decoration using openwork lambrequins, as well as openwork grabs.

Openwork lambrequins, echoing the ornamental elements of the Baroque style (luxurious carved details of an ornate shape), look elegant and allow you to solve a lot of practical problems - for example, to mask the flaws in the architecture of window openings.

Many are sure that only an expensive palace interior is a suitable place for an amazing carved accessory. Well, this misconception is easy to dispel!

We offer you a selection of photos with examples of openwork lambrequins in the interior.

Today there are 2 types of openwork lambrequins: curly accessories and trims for the cornice.

1. Rigid curly lambrequins consist of three or more elements, different in appearance, pattern and size (lateral and central) and making up a single composition. Since all the fragments together look like a single pattern, you cannot crop them! If the length of the eaves does not allow you to fix the required number of elements, you should limit yourself only to the central or extreme ones.

2. The second type - decorative strips on the cornice - have a repeating ornament and are sold not in sections, but by meters. They are easy to attach and look very sophisticated, but they are inferior to the "prefabricated" accessories in the complexity of the pattern.

Three rules of choice

1. Color.

  • The first winning option is to choose a shade that dominates the color scheme of the room. It is not necessary to choose a lambrequin tone to match the curtains - it is enough for the fabrics to be in harmony.
  • Playing on the contrast of color and texture is a great way to highlight the lambrequin against the background of the curtain fabric in the background. In classic interiors, the gamut "brown - gold" and "beige - dark" are often used. The only thing worth taking care of is a couple of accessories, in shape and color that echo the carved decor of the curtains.

2. Form. There is only one rule here - the smaller the room, the simpler the ornament. Choose a lambrequin based on the style of the room: today the assortment allows you to find an accessory of a suitable shape, even for a minimalist interior!

Size 3. The width of the product will depend on what "visual" window size you want to end up with. The smaller the window is in reality, the larger part of the wall should be occupied by a lambrequin.

A curly lambrequin is a noticeable element of any interior! Spend a sufficient amount of time choosing this accessory, taking into account all the recommendations - and the room will "sparkle" in a completely new way.
